ANOTHER CYCLE AROUND THE SUN

Every year starts so new, innocent in its infancy.  Hope is re-imagined and burns a fresh.  Eyes squinting  and set on brighter horizons, we step foot, boldly, on our next journey around the sun. But like a child, the year must grow. Through happiness and hardships, lessons are learned.  In January of 2012, we could not foresee those bright moments, or the darker ones ahead. YOUR LONG AWAITED FIX – A NEW LIST OF GREAT READS

I have had a hectic summer, and sadly I haven’t been able to post as much as I would like to because of it. I used to publish a “Reading Material” list every week of great reads I’ve stumbled upon and have popped up in my Google Reader in the week prior. My hope is to bring that back, as it has been a few months since I’ve published the last list.

LIVING IT UP AT CRIMSON TRACE MEDIA DAYS

Saturday night, my husband, Dave and I checked in to Hotel 50 in downtown Portland, Oregon to kick off the Crimson Trace Media Days. After meeting up with Shelley Rae from Western Shooting Journal, we headed down to Portland City Grill for happy hour and dinner with the media group as well some really great reps from Nike, Otis, Danner, and of course Iain and the gang from Crimson Trace. Leatherman was kind enough to sponsor our dinner and drinks and provide us each with a LED LENSER P3 flashlight. Thanks, Leatherman!

WHY CALEB WOULD WALK 500 MILES AND OTHER GREAT READS

I have been traveling a lot lately – and that’s not about to stop until the end of July when I return home from the Concealed Carry Holster Fashion Show in Hudson, NY. GIRLS GUN GETAWAY, CC FASHION SHOW AND MORE…

Hey everybody!

You may have seen my tweets and status updates about a Girls Gun Getaway (#GirlsGunGetaway). I am excited to announce that the time has finally arrived to pack my bags and head out for a weekend of friends, shooting, explosions, hunting, and whatever else our clever minds come up with.
